I've got headaches, could it be my neck?

There are a few main types of headaches: migraines, tension type, and cervicogenic. Cervicogenic headaches mean those arising from the neck, however migraines and tension type headaches can also be affected and triggered by neck, spine, and jaw problems (but will likely have some other triggers and causes too).

Your Chiropractor can assess your neck and spine to check if your headache is coming form your neck and start safe effective treatment if so.

I have neck pain

Neck pain is the second most common reason for a visit in this clinic and treated very successfully. It can be accompanied by experiencing headaches or some symptoms into the arm and hand.

A course of treatment will be aimed at resolving the painful joints/muscles but also addressing the cause of the problem, which is from postural changes most of the time.

What's the difference between Chiropractors, Osteopaths and Physio's?

A good question, and the very short answer is that they all use different techniques in general but there will be some overlap. Chiropractors tend to focus on the effects of manipulation on the nervous system, which is connected to everything in the body!

What to Expect Make a booking

How long will it take to get results?

Each individual problem will take different lengths of time to respond, and this often will depend on where the problem is, the severity, and length of time it has been building up for. In Andrew’s experience he expects to see results within 1-2 sessions in terms of the problem changing to know that you are on the right track. A typical course of treatment will take 4-6 sessions for someone to make a noticeable and longer lasting change.

We may also need to provide more supportive care, or maintenance care for your problem.
